The Christmas party will at the Hattiesburg show in Decmeber. It will be held at the top of the arena on the concourse. We will play Dirty Santa and like last year we will do “s'mores”. A letter and/or a email will be sent out to tell what kind of food we will have. PARENTS, PLEASE HELP AND BRING SOME FOOD.

We are going to do a community service project for Christmas. President Cornett is going to contact everyone and tell them what they need to bring. Later on in the year we are going to do the National Service project for AQHA.

We need to be thinking about our next year's officers. It is very important to the future of the Mississippi Youth Association and everyone needs to look at who will be best for each job.

AQHYA has announced changes in the rules for the Youth World Show. They have now made it easier to qualify for the Youth World Show. For example, they have lowered the national points for each class and are now taking four from each class from the state. AQHYA is trying to build up the participation at the Youth World. These rules will be incorporated in the MYQHA By Laws.

Jake Errington made a motion to adjourn the meeting.

Amy seconded it and the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8 pm.

Respectfully Submitted,
