June 2006 Meeting

 

Meeting is called to order by Wyler Burks.

 

Courtney made a motion to read last month’s minutes and Logan seconded it.

 

Wyler talked about singing up for the NYATT Team.

 

There were 370 entries at the youth show.

 

Youth World Rule #13: in order to participate on the World Show team, youth members must attend half of the regularly scheduled meeting and participate in at least half of the youth fund raising projects.

 

There will be times picked for meetings so that everyone will be able to come to the meetings.

 

WEB SIGHT IS ALWAYS UP TO DATE! Minutes, schedules, and rules are posted there if there are any questions.

 

The stall decorations will be painted July 12

 

Dorrie Dorris talks about stall decorations. The theme is Lead the Way. We got the theme from the Big Sis Little Sis thing. There will be a barn and the big kids will be helping the little kids. The kids will have to fill in the drop cloth so that everyone will be able to participate. Some of it will be done before it gets to Jackson. If you cant come there will be a meeting in Fort Worth, Friday morning at 9:00, so that you can catch up.

 

Things will be posted on the Dry erase board.

 

The Scrap Book will be presented that Saturday in Fort Worth. It starts at 8:00. PLEASE HELP JENNY!

 

Parade of teams is Saturday at 10:30 we will be carrying the MS Banner.

 

DO NOT BRING YOUR SHAVINGS TO WORLD!!! There will be some there for sale.

 

You MAY NOT be able to drive a golf cart with out a DL.

NO SCOOTERS ARE ALLOWED!!!

 

JUNE 27th will be a 4H clinic ad we need COOKIES and LEMONADE.

 

Mt. Leopards, Flora, MS. We will meet them June 27th and ride the trails before we start. This WILL BE and ON GOING thing! We need to help kids without an opportunity to be around or have horses!

 

YES Seminar: Delegates are leaving tomorrow for Amarillo.

 

YOUTH CALENDER: We will be having one this year. More information July 12.
