The meeting was held April 11, 2008, 7:00 pm at the Equine Center.
Members present were: Kristin Kimble, Brooke Ware, Logan Venus, Clancy Scott, Abbie Scott, John Mark Johnson, Bailey Scott, Kalee McCann, Wyatt McCann. Katie Bruce, Mackenzie Jackson, Flynn Phillips, Shianne Britt, Devan Hinds, Mary Clair Cornett, Jake Errington, and guest Braden Dennis.
Meeting was called to order by President Kristin Kimble.
Old business:
Youth Show
- Volunteers needed for all areas
- Hospitality room (will let you know what is needed)
- Silent Auction – each member is to bring at least one (1) auction item
- Ford Raffle Tickets – will have booth set up by the silent auction table
- Sponsorships for the Youth Show are due by end of Spring Show
Youth World
- Letter of Intent – Available at the Spring Show if interested in participating at Youth World.
- Skit – we want everyone to be included.
New business:
Youth Show Fundraiser – BBQ Chicken Plate available Saturday (afternoon/night), donated and cooked by Mr. Gary Woodruff & Mr. Gerald Barnes. Logan Venus made a motion to accept the fundraiser and motion was seconded by Brooke Ware. Motion passed.
Swayze Award – donate $500 to the Swayze Woodruff Scholarship Fund in honor of William Van Huss. Logan Venus made the motion and Kalee McCann seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Jake Errington made a motion to adjourn, Brooke Ware seconded the motion. Meeting was adjourned.
