The MAQHA is a fast growing group within the MQHA.
These nonprofessional showmen are versatile and creative. Their annual
programs include learning clinics, hospitality booths, producing their own
AQHA show and offering year-end awards for Mississippi approved Amateur shows.
They also feature a Rookie of the Year and Sportsmanship Award.

Hope
everyone is having a good year! The weather is getting cooler and it
makes for a lot more pleasant riding.
Just
a reminder, for those of you that have list of amateur members to call, please
try to get your calls made as soon as possible. We need to get as much
feedback on those calls that we can.
Don't
forget our amateur show December 12th - 14th. This is our fundraiser
show. Whatever funds we raise go toward our year end awards. We
need workers for the show also. We all like to go and show, but this is
the "AMATEURS" show. We need everyone to participate, not only in the
showing, but the working also. It takes EVERYONE working together
to make the show a success!
We
will bne having our silent auction again. We ask each amateur member to
bring at least one donation for the auction.
Our
next meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 8, 6:30 at the Farmer's Market in
Jackson. Please try to attend, we need input for our show.
